“2024 was a challenging harvest, slightly less productive than 2023, but undoubtedly one of the best years of the decade,” highlights José Carlos Fernandes, Director of Viticulture at Aveleda.
The balanced climatic conditions allowed for wines with great presence and quality. This assessment is further complemented by the Director of Oenology, Diogo Campilho, who emphasizes, “A great harvest, with very consistent, elegant, and aromatic wines. All of them are very balanced overall, showcasing a good identity of the region.”
