Summer Recipe - Mexican Salad in a Jar

In summer, Maria, of our R&D department, loves to do picnics with her family. Motivated by this idea, Clavel's Kitchen, created the Mexican Salad in a Jar, a delicious and practical meal, ideal for a picnic or to take to the beach. Discover the recipe, pair it with Aveleda Loureiro, and add more flavor to your summer.

INGREDIENTS
FOR THE SAUCE
  • ½ avocado
  • ¼ seedless red chilli
  • 3 coriander branches 
  • 1 Lime Juice
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder tea
  • 1 tablespoon of water 

FOR THE SALAD
  • 1 shredded grilled chicken steak
  • 120g black beans
  • 60g of boiled corn
  • 50g sliced red peppers
  • 50g sliced red onion
  • Lettuce mix 
  • 20g of croutons

PREPARATION
For the sauce, grind all ingredients in a mincer. Season with salt if desired. Build the salad in a jar: start by putting the sauce in the bottom. Then place the beans, corn, shredded chicken, peppers, onions, lettuce mix and finish with the croutons.
